Extruct AI’s Rebrand: From Scrappy Website to Credible B2B Brand

There are many data providers on the market that help you do company research for sales and investment opportunities. But they all give the same story: a standard, limited set of data points like founding year, revenue estimates, and basic company descriptions. Knowing that people have much more specific search needs, Extruct developed an AI co-pilot that can dig up exactly what you want to know about any company. And it lets you filter for the exact company you’re looking for with natural language – this is a total game changer.

The product was solid and got attention from B2B teams and angel investors, but the website needed a professional upgrade to match the quality of their offering. With no design or web expertise in-house, Extruct struggled to create an online presence that matched the sophistication of their AI product. That's when they found magier. The challenge

Like many early-stage SaaS startups, Extruct launched fast and promoted itself within online communities with a simple Notion one-pager.

Later, as the company grew, they upgraded to a $49 Webflow template. While the basic webpage served its purpose in the earliest stages, the team soon noticed that potential clients weren't taking Extruct as seriously as they could based on the webpage.

  • The website appeared amateur, particularly for a B2B product, creating the impression that Extruct wasn't a credible company.
  • As the product evolved, the site didn’t reflect the value of the product — or the credibility needed to build trust with investors, partners, and clients.
  • The company lacked cohesive branding and design elements to support its continued growth.

Setting the branding direction was the crucial first step. Our team chose the "bento boxes design" approach to showcase the core value of intelligent search and research automation, presenting three potential directions. This established a strong foundation for Extruct's brand identity.

Next, our team moved quickly into website design and development, incorporating how and what Extruct wanted to communicate about their product.

We also created engaging motion design animations for the hero section and six subpages, adding to the professional look. With a completely fresh look and brand design, we solved the main pain point of the old website: now it’s clear in messaging and has a professional appearance.

Besides the website, we also created a complete branding kit, social media assets, and a sales deck that Extruct could use for different marketing needs.

The results

As for the results, Extruct now has a visual identity that matches the ambition of the product — and gives them a solid foundation to build trust.

While old site, built on a basic Webflow template, barely got any traffic. Since launching the new site, traffic and time spent on site have increased, but most importantly of all, outreach and client conversations are much smoother and more effective.

The shift is also internal. The team finally feels proud of how Extruct looks and sounds online. The branding kit we delivered has been used across sales decks, investor updates, and partnership materials.

But the new identity isn’t only important for the website — it’s everywhere. The branding kit now powers:
